CourseTitle: Inroduction to Computers

Course Description:

This course will introduce students to the fundamental on how to employ this technology IT which will enable . Students in collecting , handling, sorting and passing information as text, graphics or sound . Students may repeat this course in order to achieve intermediate to advanced levels of proficiency. This is the begunning of the long way to technology.

Student Learning Outcomes:

Students will learn:
1. Information technology. ie The information society,Computer reteracy,Computer componets etc.
2. Operating system ( OS) ie Operating system's task, Keyboard and Mouse, Choice of Printers, Communication between programs, Help facility of Operating system, Examples of operating System.
3.Micrososft Windows' 95, 98, 2000, Me, Xp. ie Inroduction to Windows, The Desktop, Navigation through Menus and Submenus.
4. Data Storage and Ms -Dos. ie Storing Files and folders in Memory, Data storing procedures, How to format diskette, etc.
